Matcha Green Tea Latte

Ingredients
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
2 ounces hot water
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1-2 teaspoons sweetener (honey, agave, or sugar, optional)
Ice (optional, for iced version)
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk the matcha green tea powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. If you prefer an iced latte, skip this step.
Sweeten the matcha mixture to taste, if desired.
Pour the matcha mixture into a cup and add the hot milk (or pour over ice for an iced version).
Stir gently to combine and enjoy!
Tips
Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) for the best results when mixing matcha.
Experiment with different types of milk for varied flavors and textures.
Add a sprinkle of matcha on top for a decorative touch.
